What’s the difference between Apple Immersive Video and Spatial Video?
Apple Immersive Video and Spatial Video are related but distinct formats — see the Apple Immersive Video 101 guide for the full technical comparison. Acute ingests and delivers both, along with VR180, VR360, fulldome and rectilinear.

Do I need to build my own app, or can I publish through Acute directly?
Either. A customer application can connect to Platform through the API and publish from the same catalogue, or the Acute team can build the application.

Can Acute host our media on our own infrastructure?
Yes. For organizations with specific security or hosting requirements, Acute supports on-premise deployment with customer-controlled hosting and storage options defined for your environment.

Are uploaded files public by default?
No. Files are private by default in Platform, with organization roles and permissions, and account-free share links for review.

How is pricing structured?
Acute is free to start — sign in and upload immediately, with 100GB+ of storage, unlimited video files and unlimited users at no cost. As you scale into custom integrations, white-label distribution or enterprise deployment, pricing moves to a custom quote — talk to our team.

What headsets and formats does Acute support today?
Apple Vision Pro today, with Apple Immersive Video, Spatial Video, VR180, VR360, fulldome and rectilinear format support for ingest and delivery — up to 16K source resolution and up to 12K adaptive playback depending on source and device.

Does Acute take a share of my sales?
No. Acute does not collect your revenue. Proceeds from subscriptions and purchases go through your own Apple developer account.
