How we helped
Sam Baumel, the Executive Producer of Primary, wanted to know if we could make an application for Apple Vision Pro that would play Spatial Videos specifically.
We quickly build a Proof of Concept, which gave the Primary team the confidence to build the full app, and move forward with the project.

Application development
The team at Primary was very well versed in video production, but needed help with software engineering to build their application. Acute took over the entire development of the Primary app, leveraging a template optimized for Apple Vision Pro.

File hosting & encoding
One of the key challenges of working with Immersive Video is to harmonize the variety of files formats and deliver them efficiently to headsets. Acute provided a turnkey solution to the Primary team, so that they only have to worry about uploading their final edits.

Video publishing tools
With a distributed team working remotely, Primary needed a central source of truth to author the different versions of their videos, experiment with metadata such as titles, thumbnails and descriptions, and move each video through their collaborative validation process. They can do all of this from the Acute tab in their browser.

Analytics platform
Most importantly, the Primary team needs to understand their audience – what videos users watch, for how long, when and where in the world – so that they can grow their media business. Thanks to the Acute platform, they can have detailed analytics for their editorial decisions.
